Exeter City Football Club can confirm that goalkeeper Harry Lee has declined a new contract offer and has left the club upon the expiry of his current deal.
Harry joined the Exeter City Academy in 2015 and progressed through the ranks before signing his first professional contract in 2021. He made his senior debut in the EFL Trophy against Chelsea U21s in August 2021 and went on to make his League One debut against Derby County in 2023. In total, Harry made five first-team appearances for the Grecians.
A standout talent from a young age, Harry featured for the Under-18s as a 14-year-old and was named on the bench for a League Two fixture against Crawley Town while still in Year 11. One of his most memorable moments came in October 2021, when he saved three penalties in a shootout against Cheltenham Town in the EFL Trophy, securing a bonus point for City.

Loan spells have played a key role in his development, with time spent at Dorchester Town, Weston-super-Mare, and Plymouth Parkway helping him gain valuable senior experience.
Harry has embodied the club’s philosophy of developing homegrown talent through hard work, first-team exposure, and progression via strategic loan moves. He leaves Exeter City with our thanks and best wishes as he embarks on the next chapter of his career.
Manager Gary Caldwell said: “We were keen for Harry to stay, as we believe he has a bright future in the game, but he has decided to pursue other opportunities. We respect his decision and wish him every success. As with all our academy graduates, he’ll always be welcome back at St James Park.”
Goalkeeper coach Kevin Miller added: “It’s been a pleasure to work with Harry and play a part in his development as a young goalkeeper. I look forward to following Harry’s career progress.”
All at Exeter City wish Harry the best for his future career.
