We are recruiting for a Kit Assistant role on a volunteer basis to help support our busy Kit team.
The Role
Role - key responsibilities
- Assist with washing, drying and folding first team training and match kit.
- Sort and organise kit items following training sessions and matches.
- Help maintain a clean, tidy and organised kit room.
- Monitor kit stock and highlight any issues to the Kit Room Lead.
- Support the preparation of kit and clothing for upcoming training sessions where required.
- Ensure equipment and work areas are left clean and safe after use.
- Follow Club procedures relating to health and safety and safeguarding.
What we're looking for - the ideal volunteer will be:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Organised and able to work independently.
- Able to maintain high standards and attention to detail.
- Comfortable carrying out practical tasks and light manual handling.
- Passionate about football and willing to contribute behind the scenes.
- Friendly, positive and able to work as part of a team.
No previous kit room experience is required, although an interest in sport or football operations would be beneficial.
