Exeter City’s Business Development Manager Bruce Henderson took on a dare recently to present a two hour rock ‘n’ roll show on Radio Exe this Bank Holiday Monday, 6th May, to raise funds for the club’s Football in the Community team.
With backing from RGB Building Supplies, Paramount Personnel, Atass-Respect, as well as getting personal support from Chris Harris-Deans (Charles Stanley Ltd) and Steve Hayfield (EDF Energy), Bruce is all set to go on the airwaves between 6pm and 8pm on Monday and promises a feast of classic tracks to get you reaching for your Blue Suede Shoes, with names from Buddy to Elvis, Otis to The Big O, The Everleys to Jerry Lee and Fats to Eddie.
Tune in and turn on to two hours of toe-tapping, knee-knocking, thigh-slapping, wrist-cracking, finger-popping rock ‘n’ roll music.
When asked if he was looking forward to the event, Bruce simply replied: “uh-huh”.
