Hill to man the whistle at the Pirelli
Keith Hill has been appointed as referee for Saturday’s trip to the Pirelli Stadium as Exeter City travel to Burton Albion.
Having started out in 1998, this is Hill’s 14th season as a Football League referee after he took a year out two seasons ago to travel the world and educate referees in Japan, Dubai, South Africa, Ecuador, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.
Hill has not taken charge of many Exeter games in his career, and the last time he took in a Grecians fixture was the goalless draw with Gillingham in March of last year. Ominously, City have not yet won a league match which Hill has refereed.
So far this season Hill has 21 games under his belt, and has shown 70 yellow cards and two reds in those fixtures.
