Full run-down of the Grecians’ fixtures for 2014/15
Exeter City will once again play host on the opening day of the season in 2014/15 – and Portsmouth will be guests at St James Park on Saturday 9th August. Click here to go straight to the full fixture list.
And then after a midweek Capital One Cup first round tie against AFC Bournemouth, Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park becomes the Grecians’ first away venue of the campaign on Saturday 16th August. St James Park will host the Devon Derby against the Pilgrims on Saturday 21st February 2015.
In a reversal of last year, Cheltenham Town will be visiting the Park on Boxing Day. There is no New Year’s Day fixture this season, but Accrington Stanley will be the first visitors at St James Park in 2015 on January 3rd.
Former City assistant Rob Edwards and his Tranmere team will host Exeter on Saturday 20th September, and then the compliments will be returned in the New Year - Saturday January 31st is the date that Rob returns to St James Park with Rovers.
We also have midweek fixtures scheduled against Burton (home and away), Cambridge United (home and away), Wycombe Wanderers (home and away) and Stevenage (home).
Like last year, our away campaign closes with a long trip to Hartlepool United on Saturday 25th April, but the last game of the season will be at home against Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday 2nd May.
