Eight potential opponents for the Grecians in second round
There are eight potential opponents for Exeter City in the second round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, it has today been announced.The Grecians were one of the teams to have been given a bye in the first round, meaning that we enter at this stage. The draw will take place this Saturday (6th September) on Sky Sports’ Soccer AM, and will be conducted at approximately 10.10am.
The draw remains regionalised into four geographical areas, meaning that rematches against early-season opponents Portsmouth, Plymouth or Northampton could all be on the cards for Exeter.
Ties are due to be played on the week commencing 6th October.
