Charity game comes near the fifth anniversary of Adam's passing
SHORTLY BEFORE Exeter City get their 2015/16 Sky Bet League 2 season under way against Yeovil Town at St James Park, a match of an equally special nature will take place at the home of Topsham Town FC.The Adam Stansfield Memorial Match will see a group of Exeter City supporters play against their equivalents from Yeovil Town, with the Adam Stansfield Memorial Trophy going to the winners.
This year's match takes places at Coronation Fields, the home of Topsham Town, and kick-off is at 11am.
The Glovers are the current holders of the trophy after a 2-1 win at Elmore in May last year.
Admission is free, though a number of Adam Stansfield Foundation merchandise will be available to purchase, with all proceeds made going to the Foundation. The clubhouse bar will also be open to spectators.
We hope all Grecians and Glovers can do their bit to support the Foundation on Saturday, before the league action at St James Park gets under way.
