Supporters travelling to St James Park for this evening match between Exeter City and Cardiff City should note that there will still be a partial closure of St Anne's roundabout, off St Sidwell Street, and they should plan alternative routes to the ground.
A statement from Devon & Cornwall police, said: "Due to structural concerns following the fire at Richer Sounds on Sidwell Street, the building is going to be secured and scaffolding will be erected shortly. We believe this should be completed by around 10pm tonight.
"In the meantime, only a few small closures remain in place, namely at Sidwell Street and half of St Anne’s roundabout.
"There should be no issues for those wishing to attended the match between Exeter City and Cardiff City at St James Park tonight. We simply ask that spectators consider using alternative access routes such as St James Road. You will still be able to access via Sidwell Street but will have to take a slightly longer route due to the partial closure along St Anne’s roundabout.
"We thank the public for the patience they have shown during this incident."
Fans walking to the ground from the city centre are also advised to Oxford Road or Well Street to get to St James Road as the pavement in front of Richer Sounds is also cordoned off.
