Ryan Harley to miss Stevenage game

Midfielder aggravates hip injury

Ryan Harley is expected to miss Saturday’s trip to Stevenage having limped off late in the first half of Exeter City’s match with Plymouth Argyle.

Ryan has aggravated an old hip injury. Tis was unable to put a time frame on how long it would keep him about, but he doesn’t expect the popular midfielder to be fit for Saturday’s trip to Broadhall Way.

"It seems to be a recurrence of an injury he had last November time," said Tis. "We don't know how bad it is but he's re-aggravated a hip injury and it's certainly going to keep him out of a game or two."

Tis is boosted by the return of Craig Woodman and Lee Holmes though. Both players were fit enough for a place on the bench on Saturday and Lee replaced Ryan just before half-time.

"Craig Woodman and Lee Holmes were back on the bench and at some point I then have to decide with all players who come back when they're fit enough to play 90 minutes,” said Tis. "It's nice to get bodies and start to gain strength again back in the squad, so it's certainly a positive."
