Exeter City Football Club is delighted to announce that work will commence on the demolition of the Old Grandstand, sponsored by Stagecoach from Monday, October 23.
Preparation work around the stand started this week, with the removal of the buildings adjacent to the stand, and the old floodlight poles, and netting to the right of the stand. The internals have also already been stripped to allow for quick progress with the demolition.
The new stand, scheduled to be finished in October 2018, will offer a vastly enhanced fan experience, with no pillars to obstruct the view and improved toilets and refreshment facilities.
Frequent updates will be provided throughout the redevelopment of the stand.
