City defender Rory McArdle says his side must be ready to counteract any potential 'new manager bounce' when Orient visit the Park at Saturday lunchtime.
Having won his first game in charge, Jobi McAnuff will want to continue their form into his second match - they beat Grimsby Town 1-0 on Tuesday - and McArdle knows this is something the Grecians must be aware of.
"The change of manager will probably give them an initial boost and it's something we have to be ready for," he said.
"They've had some really good results this season, but we don't know yet what the new manager will keep the same or change.
"We'll be well drilled for what they bring, but we want to put our stamp on the game and make sure we cause them a few problems as well."
