Pierce Sweeney has given his thoughts ahead of City's trip to Newport County this Saturday.
The Irishman believes momentum could be key as we face the Exiles looking to extend our good run of form.
"We go there confident as we are in good form and we will see where a good performance takes us on Saturday," he said.
"You play football to play in big games like this. This is the reason why we do it. We will take a big crowd up there and there will be a big home crowd, but at the end of the day there are three points at stake.
"Similar to us they have invested in their pitch, so we should go there expecting a quick game of football on a nice surface."
