Live football returns to St James Park for the first time in 82 days as City host Coventry City in a 3pm kick-off at SJP on Saturday.
The match is City's final pre-season friendly ahead of the 23/24 EFL Sky Bet League One season and sees the Grecians face the tough test against Championship side Coventry City, who agonisingly lost to Luton Town on penalties in the play-off final last season.
It will be the first pre-season fixture in front of fans at SJP since Swansea City visited in July 2019. Shrewsbury Town visited for a behind-closed doors fixture in the summer of 2021, running out 2-0 winners.
This will be our first meeting with with the Sky Blues since August 2019, when Coventry won 4-1 in the first round of the EFL Cup.
Gary Caldwell's Thoughts
After City's 3-2 victory over Weston-Super-Mare AFC on Tuesday evening, City's manager said:
"We want as many supporters as we can at SJP. We've not had a home pre-season friendly with fans for a while so it will be nice to see a big turn out and great for the players a feel of a big game and build us up for the Wycombe game.
"We still have lots to work on and there are a lot of things we have to get better at before the new season."

The Centre Spot Bar will be open from 11am. After the match, draft pints of Tribute, Carlsberg and Thatchers are on offer for just £3.75 a pint.

Junior Grecians Zone
The Junior Grecians Zone is open to members from 12.30pm and open to all from 1.30pm with plenty of activities for all our young Grecian supporters.
In the Fan Zone, the bar and Kenniford Farm's van will also be open for refreshments and hot food.
Club Shop
The club shop is open from 10:30am to 5pm on matchdays and is stocked with all three of City's kits for the 22/24 season as well as a range of training gear and pocket money items.

Jungle Path Kiosk
The kiosk on the Jungle Path will be selling pints of Thatchers Big Apple, cans of Thatchers Gold and bottle of Carlsberg, as well as all the usual half time snacks including pies, pasties and beverages.
