What is ‘Keep Up The Convo’?
Play Safe 2026 is asking every adult in football to make more opportunities for conversations with children and young people. not just about football; about life, emotions, anything that’s important to them.
It’s about checking in on each other, on and off the pitch, on the sidelines, on the way home, at pick-up and drop-off. Players, parents, coaches, volunteers, match officials. keeping up the convo can be as simple as keepie uppies (without the fancy footwork).
The more we talk, the more we listen, the more we respond. The more children and young people feel heard and the more likely they are to tell us how things are going.
