Dan Green reacts to a valuable point earned on the road against high-flying Huddersfield Town at the Accu Stadium.
A late equaliser from Jayden Wareham saw the points tally shared at the Accu Stadium, first team coach Dan Green grateful for the valuable earned away from home; "Really pleased to get that equaliser, it was what the players deserved."
A series of away games that had seen the Grecians fall agonisingly short in the closing phases of the game was something that had been worked on at the training ground, "We came here with the intention of making this a 55, 60 percent possession game on the basis that this was the fourth game in quick succession, we can go into the final ten minutes of this game with energy."
The next challenge needs no introduction; a trip to The Etihad Stadium for an FA Cup third round tie against Manchester City awaits Gary Caldwell's men next weekend, with Green looking forward to the prospect. "I think the important thing is to do what we do in every game: concentrate on what we can control."
