Exeter City's deadline day signing Dan Watts says he 'can't wait to get started' after finally linking up with the Grecians.
Dan put pen-to-paper on a season long loan from Championship side Swansea City, but due to a pre-existing injury he has had to undergo his rehab with Swansea, before linking up with Matt Taylor's men.
Speaking on his first day in Devon, Dan said: "It feels unbelievable to be here and I just can't wait to get going now.
"I had bone stress in both femurs, and it came on quite suddenly. I didn't have any pain, but after it was discovered I had to have a few weeks of rest recover not doing too much. And then I had another scan, came back all clear, so after that I was just on the pitch getting fit.
When asked how Matt Taylor sold the club to him, Dan added:
"I think it's the perfect move for me because Exeter play, they like to get the ball on the floor and that's how I like to play as well. I know you have to get down to the dirty side of the game too, but I've watched a few games and the boys play nice football.
When asked how he would describe himself as a player, Dan said: "I'd say I'm really good on the ball and I like to have the ball, but I'm not scared to do the other side of it and get stuck it and get tackles in to break up play."
