Danny Andrew reacts to Cardiff City (H)

Danny Andrew was given his first start since suffering injury back in November, as the Grecians bowed-out 4-0 against Cardiff City.

An afternoon that saw Exeter City come out on the wrong side of a 4-0 scoreline against Cardiff City, Danny Andrew summarises the thoughts and feelings amongst the squad. "It's a result that's tough to take. We conceded sloppy goals on our behalf and it's disappointing."

Andrew suffered injury in November that saw him miss out on the matchday squad until a 30-odd minute cameo against Lincoln City on Tuesday, however today he was given the nod to start for the first time since Leyton Orient (A). "Yeah, I'm really happy I've managed to get back fit. It was probably a bit longer away than I thought it was going to be, but my body feels ok and I just want to be a part of the team that pushes us back up the table."

The Grecians now look ahead to Tuesday night when they travel to Kenilworth Road to face Luton Town, an opportunity that Andrew is looking forward to. "We've got to attack the game, it's important we go there with a positive attitude and be on the front foot and try and get a positive result off the back of the last couple."
