City boss Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts ahead of the Grecians' trip to Cheltenham Town in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
After Saturday's fine win, Exeter head to Gloucestershire looking for another cup run after successes in the last two seasons, but will wary of a Robins outfit looking for a higher-league scalp.
"It's going to be a really tough game for us because every time you play lower league opposition there is an expectation to go and win the game, but there is also an understanding that it is going to be difficult.
"We know the environment, and they will want to win and cause an upset. So we have to be mentally right and perform the good behaviours that we know if we display then we know we are going to cause their team problems.
"It is important we train properly and we pick a squad that will go there and show those good behaviours."
"We will focus on ourselves. One of the reasons we were so good on Saturday is because we focused on being brave in and out of possession."
