Exeter City manager Gary Caldwell has given his reaction as the Grecians started pre-season in style with a 6-0 win over Weston-super-Mare at the Optima Stadium.
Jayden Wareham’s close range finish had the Grecians ahead at the break, before Harry Crees, Sonny Cox, Reece Cole, and a Kieran Wilson quick-fire double added to the second half tally.
Speaking after the match, Gary said: "I thought we were outstanding, right from the kick-off."
"We dominated the ball and our pressure when we lost the ball - the five second fury was incredible. We won the ball back a lot. The first-half team's intensity took a lot out of Weston and there was no let up from the second-half team and they got the rewards."
