Exeter City manager Gary Caldwell was delighted with his team's attitude and mentality as the confirmed a place in the second round of the Emirates FA Cup.
First half goals from Danny Andrew and Jayden Wareham were enough for City to pick up the win. Reflecting on the result, Gary said: "Really happy, we knew how difficult the game was going to be. The players attitude and mentality to winning was good and we got off to a brilliant start - not just with the goal but the way we set the tone for the game was excellent.
"We knew we would have difficult moments on transition and that they would up their level from their norm of National League football which has been really good of late - they haven't lost at home in eight games. The challenge was big and we always know that in the FA Cup it isn't easy and I thought it was a professional performance."
