Exeter City manager Gary Caldwell has given his reaction after the Grecians fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town at SJP.
Despite creating a host of chances, City fell to defeat to a wonder strike from Leo Castledine in the first-half. Gary again saw positive signs from a performance that could have resulted in a point.
"It was a huge effort from the player right from the start. We set our intentions out and played aggressive football. We should have scored in that period when we put them under pressure.
"They had a spell in the game when they scored a wonder goal. We were the team pushing in the second half but we have to keep the ball better. Too many times we won it back and gave it back to them. But the players effort and application was first class today."
