Ilmari Niskanen reflects on a narrow defeat to Bradford City, in his 100th Grecian appearance.
Ilmari Niskanen spoke highly of the team, not wanting the result to be the overriding feeling in the wake of this result, "The result is a massive disappointment, but considering how well we played there are so many positives we can take from the match."
"There were so many chances created, but I think we can create even more if the final ball, or the final cross or pass is a bit better. On a different day, one two or three of those goals would have gone in so many positives to take at the same time."
After signing for the Grecians in 2023, Ilmari completed his 100th appearance for Exeter City this afternoon, the Fin ever grateful for the support. "It's a massive privilege to play for such a fantastic club. 100 games and hopefully many more to come, so we will recover and go again."
