Ilmari Niskanen believes that the Exeter City squad is full on confidence that they can achieve anything, starting with a home tie against Bolton Wanderers this weekend.
Last time out it was a thrilling encounter in Cambridgeshire that saw the points shared between the Grecians and Peterborough United after a 3-3 draw. Ilmari once again got on the assist chart, adding two to his season tally and drawing level for the most assists in the league.
"I'm really proud but at the same time it's a credit to the whole coaching staff and to the other players."
"If it weren't for Jayden or for Josh, or Sonny or Reece or whoever has been finishing those crosses I would be nowhere near the other players in the assist charts!"
City last faced the Wanderers back in December and despite leading at the break, the hosts overcame the Grecians to secure all three points at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
"I think we played well for the first 60-70 minutes; we played exactly the way we wanted to, but in the second half we gave away two cheap goals."
"But, at the same time that game was three months ago and both of the teams have changed a lot since then."
