Ilmari Niskanen reflects on Luton Town defeat

Ilmari Niskanen did his bit to contribute to the Grecian's display at Kenilworth Road, however a goal from the Fin wasn't enough to secure points.

After the conclusion of a game that saw City come close on multiple occasions against a strong League One side, Ilmari Niskanen summarised his feelings. "Of course we're really disappointed about the result, but there are so many positives within that performance, especially the first half."

"I think we created so many chances and played really well on the ball, but then conceded three really cheap goals."

Niskanen netted his second goal of the campaign soon after the break, with the Fin explaining what was said in the changing room; "At half-time we were all disappointed about the goals we'd conceded, but the coaching staff and we as players were talking about how well we'd played."

"At the same time, at the end of the day it's all about results so it's disappointing but there are so many good things about the performance that we spoke about after the game too."

"We need to take these positives into the next game." The Grecians are next in action on Saturday where they will travel to face Wigan Athletic.
