Exeter City defender Jack Fitzwater is looking forward to City's trip to Broadhurst Park on Saturday to face FC United in pre-season.
City head to Manchester on the back of a fine 6-0 win over Weston-super-Mare on Saturday, looking back on the first pre-season test, Jack said: "It was really good. We played them last season and it was a really tough game so to go there and be as dominant as we were and to score the amount of goals we did doesn't really happen a lot.
"It was nice to see all the things we've been working on, on the training pitch that have been drilled into us by the coaching team be used on the pitch."
Looking ahead to Saturday, City will come up against an FC United side that features the likes of Andre Wisdom and Adam Le Fondre, players that Jack has played before.
"I think I've played against both of them at some point in my career. They have a wealth of experience and I think it will be a good game and one for the fans to enjoy as well.
"It will be a good time to get away from the training ground for a few days, especially with the new guys that have come in and you get to see a different side of them away from training."
