Jack Fitzwater shares his thoughts after this evenings victory in the first Devon Derby of the season, in front of a packed St James Park.
After an outstanding performance in City's back line, Jack described how important this evening's win felt to everyone at the club. "It's an amazing feeling; I'm happy for the club, for the fans, for the staff, for the players."
"From minute one when we arrived at the ground, you could feel it in the changing rooms. We knew we were ready." A first Devon Derby for Fitzwater, he goes on to thank the efforts of the fans throughout the buildup to the game and the 90 minutes.
City started on the front foot, with Danny Andrew through on goal within the first 30 seconds. "When we don't give teams a chance to grow into the game, we are a hard team to play against."
