City's central midfielder Jake Doyle-Hayes shared his reaction to the Grecians' defeat on the road against Stevenage.

Despite coming back from behind to draw level, a late goal ultimately meant City lost 2-1 away at Boro, and the Irishman was disappointed with the outcome.

"Really disappointed, coming here looking for three points. We can't concede goals that early on like that, we have to stay compact, give ourselves a chance.

"When we got back in the game it felt like we were probably going to score the second goal, but then they score towards the end of the game."

With a clear week now ahead of City, Jake's full focus is on the reaction to this game and looking to take maximum points from facing Huddersfield Town next week.

"We all need to stick together, and get onto the next game. Everyone's going to go back, watch the game themselves, figure out what they need to do to help the team. We need to work hard this week in training and win the next game."
