Exeter City assistant manager Kevin Nicholson has given his thoughts as the Grecians played out a ding-dong 4-3 win over Arsenal U21 at SJP.
City found themselves a goal down at the break, but Josh Magennis double and goals from Jack Aitchison and a late winner from Jayden Wareham earned City the three points to mean that all four teams sit on three points after two games.
Speaking after the match Kev said: "It was a brilliant result. There was plenty of action, goals, mistakes and good stuff. We would have preferred more control and more composure at times and less of a transition game. After a slow start, which we understand as there were some lads making their first start in a while and some played on Thursday. We understand it's not easy to just go out there and click immediately.
"After some choice words at half-time I thought they came out and gave it a good go and dispite the mistakes and goals we conceded we found a way of winning a really exciting game of football."
