Exeter City assistant manager Kevin Nicholson has said that the team have an opportunity to 'build momentum' as they prepare to face Arsenal U21s in the Vertu Trophy on Tuesday night.
The Grecians come into the match rested and on the back of a fantastic 2-0 win in the Devon Derby last Thursday. Speaking ahead of the 7pm kick-off he said:
"They are what you would expect an Arsenal team to be - they have athleticism, pace, ability and technique and are very expressive in how they try and play.
"They are coming to a place they have been recently and had a good result a couple of years ago so we are putting out a really strong team and want to make sure everyone is ready and we want to build on that momentum.
"Josh Magennis, Pierce Sweeney, Ilmari Niskanen, Ed Francis will all be playing - we are putting out a good mix of experience with the likes of Liam Oakes and Tom Dean, Kieran Wilson - players that have a future here that need to show what they are about.
"We have to win this game. Arsenal have to come here and see how good we can be."
