Exeter City assistant manager Kevin Nicholson has given his preview of City's Vertu Trophy clash with Newport County on Tuesday night.
The Grecians head to Rodney Parade knowing that a win will be enough to qualify for the next stage - with all four teams sitting on the same points and only seprated by goals scored.
Ahead of the 7pm kick-off, Kev was keen to stress that the team need to not underestimate their League Two opponents after suffering defeat to Cheltenham Town in the Carabao Cup earlier in the season.
"We need to make sure we prepare properly and are clear on how we go out there and beat them," said Kev.
"It's a cup tie and a knockout so we will go there positive and on the front foot and we are going there to win the game.
City head to Newport in confidence on the back of four games unbeaten. "We are building, said Kev. "We've had a rough patch earlier in the season. We have to take every game how it comes and be prepared and ready to go. It's a process driven thing and the results will come if we do us to the best of our ability and commit to the game plan and tactics."
