Exeter City host Walsall on Saturday in the second home match of the week, with Matt Taylor looking to maintain the unbeaten record at the Park.
The Grecians come into the game off the back of a 1-1 draw against Barnet on Tuesday night, with Matt looking to build on a point ahead of Saturday. "We'll take with us all of the positives you can take from a good performance. We didn't win the game, we tried to do that and created the best chances in the game, stood up to a real physical examination and came through it relatively unscathed."
"They put us under pressure, we know that, but we protected our box on our goal so, so well and Jack's not had too much to do. We worked their goalkeeper especially well in the first half with the amount of chances and got back in the game, responded to going one nil down so so well and could have won it towards the end."
With the transfer window now closed, Matt is also looking forward to working with what he has at his disposal for the foreseeable future; "We'll keep on improving as the season goes on, and there are some players not available right now that will improve us. It sounds so strange to say when we've been together for two and a half, three months, but looking forward to a period of time where everything settles down, what's directly in front of me is what I've got and what this staff have got, and the players know that as well."
