Exeter City manager Matt Taylor has thanked the fans for turning out today despite the awful weather as City made it back-to-back wins this week at the Park.
Goals from Charlie Cummins and a stunning strike from Luca Woodhouse sealed a 2-1 win for City which made sure the team remained unbeaten at home this season.
Speaking after the match, Matt said: "Seven points from nine this week, but I think it's right that we start the interview by mentioning the fans who came out today in all corners of the ground. We know what the weather's been like the last 24 hours and what the forecast was for today.
"We're so grateful. So thankful to the supporters who turned out today. And most of them probably got wet on their way to the ground. Some of them will have got wet inside the stadium, underneath the stands, and they'll get wet on their way home, but thankfully we've been able to give them three points.
"I've said all along that we asked for patience at the start of the season. We asked for understanding of our situation and, you know, an expectation and a belief that we will get better. And some lost that belief at times. Some kept that belief. And we've been really level in terms of where our minds have been, in terms of what we want to achieve this season and get a competitive team out on that football pitch first and foremost. This month we have found a way to use the ball a little bit better."
