Exeter City manager Matt Taylor has said the team will travel to face Colchester United with confidence on Saturday, after registering back-to-back wins in League Two.
Sonny Cox's late strike at Shrewsbury last weekend ended a run of away games without a win that stretched back to January 24 and City will be looking to build on a positive couple of weeks as they head to the JobServe Stadium.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Matt said: "We've not been too far away in our performances. Every game has been a one goal difference apart from our home win against Accrington Stanley, So we've not been a million miles away. We scored the first goal which makes a massive difference and clean sheets continue to make a big difference, but also a little bit of rhythm and confidence within the group.
"We've moving in the right direction, but we know we've not cracked it by any means."
On facing Colchester, Matt added: "If you're going to go away from home and then away from home again, you might as well do it on the back of an away win. Added to that the feeling we had at the end of the game, and the feeling we had when Sonny's goal went in, the feeling we had on the journey home on Sunday all puts us in a good position to go to Colchester."
