This season, starting from Saturday, we will be profiling and supporting the seven charities that make up the Exeter City Community Fund.
Last season, thanks to the generosity of supporters, we were able to donate a total of £20,000 to our six Community Fund charities. As well as proceeds from the Party at the Park, £6,000, the football management team took part in the Exeter City Community Trust organised half marathon with sponsorship contributing to the total. This is alongside donations collected from the Eco Cups, which see supporters pay a returnable deposit, which they can choose to donate to the fund, by dropping their cups at the collecting points.
A seventh charity – Brazilian charity Onda Solidária – was added to the group from the 2024/25 season. The charity, which works to promote social inclusion through generating opportunities in low-income communities in Brazil, is supported by the Brazilian football club Fluminense. It was Fluminense’s Laranjeiras stadium which hosted City’s famous match against Brazil in 1914 which was the start of the two clubs’ relationship, which continues to this day.
The seven organisations who benefit from the Exeter City Community Fund for the 2024/25 season are:
Alright Mate? CiC

The partner charity of Exeter City Football Club delivers a huge range of services and activities across the Greater Exeter area, focused on helping people of all ages start well, live well and age well.

Exeter Community Initiatives (ECI)
ECI is a charity which delivers services across Exeter and Devon and is a partner of Exeter City Supporters’ Trust. Its mission is to work alongside people, families and communities to build connections, develop capacity, improve wellbeing and support each other.

Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF)
ELF provides support to patients with blood cancer and other disorders, who attend the Haematology Centre at the RD&E Hospital. It provides support to patients from diagnosis, during and after treatment, at hospital and in the community. Being a small Devon charity, Exeter Leukaemia Fund's partnership with the Community Fund is invaluable. The relationship allows us to raise awareness about ELF's services for blood cancer patients amongst a huge local audience that we wouldn't otherwise reach, whilst the financial donations we receive help ELF to make life that bit easier for the patients and their family members living with a blood cancer diagnosis.
