Women's Nov POTM votes

Voting is now open for Exeter City Women's November Player of the Month award!

November saw City begin in style, a 7-0 win away against lowly Billericay Town in the Women's National League Southern Premier Division, followed up by a home defeat to AFC Bournemouth in the WNL League Cup. Nevertheless, league form continued in good stead with a 2-0 win against AFC Wimbledon at Coach Road before defeat in the Adobe Women's FA Cup at the hands of Chatham Town. A steady month for City, with consistent league performances pushing the team up the table with three standout performers nominated for the City Gate City Women November Player of the Month award; Emily Toogood, Leah Burridge and Ishbel Zuurmond.

This season's award is sponsored by the City Gate Pub and Hotel. Conveniently positioned just a hop, skip, and jump from Exeter’s historic city centre and Central train station, they're a firm favourite with the locals. With a fine selection of real ales and craft beers aplenty, they've got something to satisfy every taste.

Emily Toogood

Strong performances in the month's two victories over Billericay and AFC Wimbledon as Emily brought balance to the City defence and proved a constant threat from set pieces with her dead ball skill.

Leah Burridge

A consistent month for the City midfielder, dictating play in the centre of the field and looking to set the tempo for the Grecians in key victories.

Ishbel Zuurmond

Goals against Billericay Town and AFC Wimbledon, a game changing performance against the Dons sealing all three points. Either wide or central, the City midfielder's energy and attacking ability was a huge asset to the Grecians in November
