A name synonymous with Women's Football at Exeter City, Abbie Britton has been part of City's setup in various roles for over a decade now.
Originally signing as a player in 2017, alongside working at the Community Trust, Abbie has had a considerable hand in the team's recent success.
She was promoted to joint player-manager in 2018, and guided the team to the tier five title at the end of that season. Five seasons of hard work went into another title victory in 2024, as Abbie guided the Grecians alongside Aaron Walkley to the highest point in the club's history.
As the women's team became an official part of the club's business in 2024, Abbie became full-time solo manager of the group, and after guiding the Grecians to an incredible fourth placed finish, she won the league's Manager of the Season award.
