Maya Kendell first signed for Exeter City Women in a double loan deal from Bristol City in January 2025, alongside her teammate Fearne Slocombe.

The then 19-year-old full-back Maya has previously started for the Robins in the League Cup, after making her professional debut in the competition against Tottenham Hotspur last season. Kendell graduated from Bridgwater United's academy and has previous tier three experience after making thirteen appearances for the Robins in the 2022/23 season.

Maya made 10 appearances and scored two goals while flying up and down City's wing in the second half of the 2024/25 season. She played for Watford and Oxford United during the following season, before returning to Devon's capital, this time permanently, in summer 2026.
