Fearne Slocombe initially signed for Exeter City Women in a double loan deal from Bristol City in January 2025, alongside her teammate Maya Kendell.

Joining City as an 18-year-old centre-back, Fearne made her Robins debut in the League Cup against Manchester City when she was only 16, and also appearing in the Women’s Championship during the 2023/24 season.

At the end of that campaign, Fearne was awarded the Robins High Performance Award, given to the player who has shown excellence in their performances throughout the season, whilst maintaining great potential to take their development further.

Fearne made her loan move to City permanent in July 2025, and proved her versatility by playing in both the centre of defence and midfield throughout the 2025/26 season, a year where she won Exeter's Young Player of the Season award.
