Frankie, who joined the Grecians last summer, has put pen to paper on a year extension, with a club option of a further year.
The 19-year-old shot stopper spent the whole of the 24/25 season on-loan at Exmouth Town, where he quickly became a fan favourite, finishing the season with an incredible 21 clean sheets in all competitions as Exmouth made it to the play-offs. He also picked up the fans' player of the season award.
Frankie ended the 24/25 season gaining valuable experience being named sub goalkeeper at City's final match of the season at Mansfield Town.
Speaking about extending Frankie's contract, Gary Caldwell said: "Frankie has had an excellent season on loan and has adapted really well to full time training with Kevin Miller and the other Goalkeepers.
"He is a young goalkeeper with lots of potential and we are all looking forward to working with him to see how much he develops again this season."
Speaking about signing a new deal, Frankie said: "It feels brilliant. I can't wait to get going next season and see what it holds.
"Gary said to me to get fit over pre-season, get in the gym and come back and be ready to work and that last season I did well, so to come back and see where we go from there."
