Dan Green was announced as Assistant Manager alongside Kevin Nicholson ahead of the 2026/27 season following Matt Taylor's return to the club.
Dan played for Exeter City Under-18s between 2008 and 2010 before returning to the club as an Under-18s coach and helping to develop players such as Ethan Ampadu, Jack Sparkes and Archie Collins. With the appointment of Matt Taylor as first-team manager in 2018, Dan became manager of the Under-23 team.
Dan departed the Grecians in 2022 for opportunities at Aston Villa and then Rotherham United before returning in 2024 as a Player Development Phase (PDP) coach before taking on first-team duties. Assisted by Kevin Nicholson, he took charge of the first-team following Gary Caldwell's departure until Matt Taylor's return in March 2026.
