Striker Josh Gordon signed for Exeter City ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Originally on the books at Stoke City during his school years, Josh began his senior career at the age of 22 when he was offered a professional contract with Leicester City in the 2016/17 season after strong campaigns in non-league. Loan moves to Nuneaton Town and Loughborough Dynamo came before a permanent move to Walsall ahead of the 2018/19 season.

Josh moved to Barrow ahead of the 2021/22 season before joining Burton Albion two seasons later during which time he was loaned back to Walsall. A permanent return to Walsall came ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, however he returned to Barrow a year later on a season-long loan. Over 250 EFL appearances later, Josh signed for the Grecians ahead of the 2026/27 season.
