Winger Gwion Edwards signed for Exeter City ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Gwion rose through the ranks in the Swansea City academy before gaining first-team experience with loan spells at St Johnstone and Crawley Town. At the conclusion of his contract with the Swans, the former Wales Under-21 made the permanent move to Crawley before further moves to Peterborough United, Ipswich Town, Wigan Athletic and Morecambe allowed him to amass over 450 first-team appearances in the EFL Championship, League One and League Two.

The vastly experiences winger was Matt Taylor's first acquisition after his re-appointment as permanent manager at the start of the 2026/27 season, and the Welshman put pen to paper on a one year deal with a club option of a second.
