Midfielder Taylor Perry put pen to paper and signed for Exeter City to become the third signing of the summer transfer window in July 2026.
Taylor has made the move to EX4 on a two year deal after departing fellow EFL Sky Bet League Two side Shrewsbury Town at the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.
A 25-year-old, Taylor joins the Grecians after amassing over 180 appearances in EFL Sky Bet League One and Two. Taylor is an energetic box-to-box midfielder who likes to get around the pitch and play, with a keen eye to contribute high up the pitch with assists and goals to help the team.
A product of the Wolverhampton Wanderers academy, Taylor made his first-team debut in September 2019 as a substitute in the club's Carabao Cup victory against Reading. He had been involved in the team's pre-season tour of China that summer, finding himself scoring in the decisive penalty shootout against Manchester City in the final of the Premier League Asia Trophy.
August 2021 saw Perry sign for Cheltenham Town on a season-long loan shortly before netting his first senior professional goal. The follwowing season, he returned to The EV Charger Points Stadium on another season-long loan before calling his time with Wolverhampton Wanderers and opting to join Shrewsbury Town where by the end of the 2025/26 season he had made over 130 appearances.
