Defender Ethan Sutherland joined Exeter City on loan ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The Scotland youth international came through the ranks of the Rangers and St Mirren academies before making his first-team debut for The Saints and gaining valuable experience with a loan move to Alloa Athletic. Ethan signed for then Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers ahead of the 2024/25 season.

An impressive force in the Wolves Under-21 side, Ethan netted five times and provided seven assists in the 2025/26 season to earn a place in the first-team matchday squad on three occasions in the Premier League. In the aim to gain more valuable senior football, Ethan made the move to EX4 on a season-long loan ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
