Goalkeeping coach Ali Hines joined Exeter City ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Having appeared alongside Matt Taylor for Team Bath 20 years ago, Ali Hines went on to enjoy an illustrious coaching career at Bristol City. Ali held a variety of roles over his 19 years at the Robins High Performance Centre as a goalkeeper coach, development coach as well as assisting with the management of the club's Under-21s and Under-23s.

With Kevin Miller departing the club at the end of the 2025/26 season, Ali was appointed as goalkeeper coach in June 2026 in the buildup to the League Two campaign to work with Matt once again.
