Defender Vincent Harper returned to Exeter City on loan ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Vincent (Vinnie) Harper moved to England from Kenya as a toddler before coming through the ranks of the Bristol City academy where he signed his first professional contract in 2019. Vinnie gained valuable loan experience with Gloucester City, Chippenham and Bath City before a permanent move to Eastleigh came in 2021.

Vinnie quickly became a standout for the Spitfires and enjoyed two hugely productive seasons before joining Exeter City for the first time ahead of the 2023/24 season. In the two campaigns in his last spell at the club, Vinnie featured 65 times and netted three goals all while proving to be a popular figure amongst the fans before his move to Walsall ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The Kenya international returned to St James Park on loan for the remainder of the season in August 2026.
