City Women make the trip to newly-promoted AFC Bournemouth this Sunday, in what will be the first competitive meeting between the sides since the Grecians sealed promotion against the Cherries in 2024.
That memorable day saw Zoe Cunningham’s free-kick secure the vital point that sent City up, and now, a year on, Bournemouth join them in tier three after storming to their own league title unbeaten last season.
Abbie Britton’s side will be aiming to respond to last weekend’s home defeat to Lewes, as they look to build on an impressive first campaign at this level.
