Josh Magennis looks ahead to Peterborough

Josh Magennis pre Peterborough interview

Josh Magennis has given his thoughts ahead of the visit of Peterborough United to Devon on Saturday, with the Grecians hoping to pick up a third league win of the season.

Magennis returned to the pitch in City's 4-1 win over Blackpool three weeks ago - scoring his first goal of the campaign - after overcoming surgery in the summer is now happy to be back playing again.

"I am feeling a lot better and moving a lot freer," Josh said.

"How I have returned to the pitch has been good for my progression, and it's good to be building up that endurance and strength again. It was really tough missing a chunk of pre-season because there is no fitness like that, and it was tough to take. But it's great not to have the burden of that injury anymore and being handle the movements. It was a long road to recovery, but one that was needed.

"Now I can focus on this weekend, with Peterborough who I expect to be physical and to play with pace and power in their top line. it is not going to be easy, but is it a game I believe we can win."
