Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts as the Grecians prepare to take on Peterborough United at St James Park on Saturday, hoping to bounce back from defeat to Northampton Town last time out.
City will hope to end August with three points, but will face a Peterborough side still eager to pick up their first victory of the season. Caldwell hopes that the team can use lessons from last week's defeat to improve this time around.
"Win, lose, or draw there are things we can better at and we always take that into the next game," Caldwell said ahead of the game.
"We won't change our approach to this game. Peterborough will believe that their first win is just around the corner, so we have to have more belief, more desire than them, and we know that if we get three points it puts us round about the top half of the table which would be a brilliant start.
"I think they are a really good, well-coached team with a good identity and have been going through transition but they are always really difficult to play against. It is always a tough game, but we need that desire and hunger to go and win it."
