The Stadium
- Name: The EV Charger Points Stadium
- Opened: 1927
- Capacity: 7,066
- Address: Whaddon Rd, Cheltenham GL52 5NA

The stadium, on the site of what was the Berkeley Hunt kennels, was built by the Cheltenham Original Brewery in 1927 and has been the home of Cheltenham Town since 1932, although it did not host senior football for 67 years. Cheltenham marked their 70th anniversary at the stadium by winning promotion to the Football League Second Division, the third tier of English football, for the first time. The record attendance is 8,326, at a game versus Reading, FA Cup 1st Round, 17 November 1956.
Away fans are located in the Hazlewoods Stand, which has a capacity 1,100, with additional away supporters accomodated in the end blocks of the Colin Farmer Stand.
How to get there
The EV Charger Points Stadium is located in the centre of Cheltenham, and is easily accessible by car! Taking around 2 hours and 20 minutes each way.
To find Cheltenham on Google Maps then put in ‘Cheltenham Town Football Club’. If you are using a Sat-Nav then the postcode is GL52 5NA.
By Train
Cheltenham can easily be done on the train in just 1hr 45 from Exeter St Davids.
Cheltenham Spa Station is around 2 miles away from the stadium, so many away fans choose to take a taxi rather than walk. Alternatively, The Stagecoach D bus will take you into the town centre which is much closer.
The last train back is at 22:52. Click here to plan your journey.

Parking
Parking is often available (for a fee) in the grounds of the Parklands Community Centre, located off Wyman’s
Road (GL52 5PR).
The nearest public car parks are Portland Street (GL52 2NX) and North Place (GL50 4JL) about 10–15-minute walk from the ground. The ground is located in a residential area, where there is very limited street parking that will be claimed before 2pm, beyond that there is no public street parking on matchdays and enforced
restrictions are in place.
Please respect the local community by not parking on the street around the ground.
At the Stadium
Food and Drink
There are food and drink outlets available in all sections of the ground. Queues can be quite long, so it’s often worth not leaving it to the last minute if you want to get food or drink at half time. Alcoholic drinks are not currently offered in the away stand, the Paddock, and Tunnel areas, as the sales point is in view of the pitch.
The Robins Nest is the main social facility at the Stadium. Located at the back of the Smarta Energy Community Stand, it is open to everyone, has a widescreen TV. Numbers are limited, so it’s worth arriving early if you wish to eat and drink.
Once the Robins Nest reaches maximum capacity, it will be necessary to turn supporters away. However, there is an overflow bar close to the entrance which is used when the weather allows. The bar stops serving 15 minutes before kick-off and will not reopen at half time.
There are a variety of pubs in the town centre only a short 15 minute walk away.
